Beschreibung HERKUNFT UND ERNTEZEIT Yunnan, 2020 CHARAKTER The elegant black package reflects the tea’s true refinement, its velvety liquor, and its cognac-like and almond flavor notes. It does not belong to the earthy style of shu puerh teas. Lao cha consists of leaves selected from the center and bottom of the fermenting leaf pile, compressed into small clumps by weight and heat. It’s a variant with the same character as the tea cake but in more compact, fully fermented little clusters. The tea has a sweet, rum-nut aroma with light cocoa and dark chocolate notes, alongside a mild earthy quality.
