Beschreibung HERKUNFT UND ERNTEZEIT China, Yunnan, Menghai, Bulang Shan, Banzhang region CHARAKTER The 2020 harvested and 2025 pressed brick is a "golden puer" pressed entirely from buds, which is slightly different from the classic shu teas in its processing. Its fermentation period is about two weeks longer, 60 days, but at drier and lower humidity. The slower fermentation process gives tea a sweeter, sometimes nutty, honey base character, earthiness is less in its characteristic. Our brick is a very strong, bare tea with a very delicate, creamy-walnut flavor, which is expected to age wonderfully, but also perfect choice for immediate consumption. Too keep the original tones longer, the brick is tightly pressed by iron frames under high pressure. This way the moldy and humid aroma doesn't appear, the aging process more about concentrating the original tastes and resulting a layered, complex, but not earthy brick. As its an iron pressed tea, we cannot break it into smaller pieces.
