Beschreibung HERKUNFT UND ERNTEZEIT China, Yunnan Province, Xishuangbanna, Ban Pen Village, Bulangshan, 2025 CHARACTER: Ban Pen is a well-known puerh tea village in the Bulang Mountains, Yunnan, near the famous Lao Ban Zhang. A moderately dense tea with a root-vegetable and woody profile, pressed into a moderately budded cake. The lower bud content results in a less overt sweetness but a more camphor-forward, woodier tone. An interesting dried-sour-cherry aroma appears on the nose, while from the second infusion onward the dominant character becomes clearly woody, earthy and camphorous.
