Beschreibung HERKUNFT UND ERNTEZEIT China, Yunnan Province, Xishuangbanna, Menghai, 2025 CHARAKTER A soft, lightly sweet shu with cocoa-earthy tones that shift toward earthier, more tannic and slightly sour notes in later infusions. Dose matters with this tea: using 4–5 grams instead of 8 grams yields a clean, classic, everyday shu. For a bud-heavy tea, that amount is more than enough to feel refreshed and focused. Menghai bud teas show sweet, earthy and malty tones with carob- and cocoa-like accents, a thick and oily texture, and a warming, body-grounding energy. Alongside the classic bitterness they also deliver a soft underlying sweetness.
