These little dragon balls were hand-rolled in from 2017 Mang Fei Mountain spring harvested ripe pu-erh tea. Mang Fei mountain area is in Yong De county of Lincang. which is one of the most remote areas of Yunnan! Entirely spring harvested and wet piled in 2017 gives this tea an incredibly rich and full-bodied taste. A few years of aging has allowed the newish “wet pile” taste to dissipate giving way to a creamy sweet and complex ripe tea! The wet pile batch was done with a medium-light level of fermentation to preserve more of the raw “sheng” character of the tea leaves.
