This is a nice loose leaf ripe pu-erh tea that is sweet. fruity. and smooth. In later steeps it becomes kind of creamy. It takes about 6-8 steeps gong fu style (possibly more if you push it) and without any wet pile taste. An excellent budget ripe pu-erh tea that is an enjoyable daily drinker. It’s been aging in Menghai (warm and humid) since 2016 and the bulk of our stock will remain there into the future. We are planning to get 1 case at a time sent up to Kunming to keep this tea’s Menghai stored character. The wet pile batch was done with a medium-light level of fermentation to preserve more of the raw “sheng” character of the tea leaves. The result is an aromatic tea withplenty of fruity sweetness and just a little bit of chocolate bitter character. 357Grams per cake 2008 Pressing Certified Organic by ODFDC ChinaThis is a well aged Guangdong storage ripe pu-erh This is a well aged Guangdong storage ripe pu-erh tea pressed in 2008 by the Lao Man’e Brand.
